Control Cable Adjustment Tips
Engine 603
 

Vehicles with engine 603.96

Detach ball socket (19) and pull control pressure cable forwards until slight resistance can be felt. In this position, hold the ball socket over the ball head and attach; if necessary, adjust by means of the adjusting screw (15).

Engine 103

Detach ball socket (19) and pull control pressure cable forwards until slight resistance can be felt. In this position, hold the ball socket over the ball head and attach; if necessary, adjust by means of the adjusting screw (15).

Engine 104

Remove air cleaner.

Control pressure cable attached. Adjust control pressure cable (98) by turning adjusting screw (15) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.

Engine 119
 

Vehicles with engine 119

Remove air cleaner.

Turn adjusting screw (15) on bowden cable (98) until the pointer of the spacer sleeve (17) aligns with the adjusting screw.

 

Vehicles with engine 119.97

Remove air cleaner.

Slacken hexagon nuts (6) on connecting rod (8).

Turn connecting rod (8) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.

Tighten hexagon nuts (6).

Remove air cleaner.

Turn adjusting screw (15) to adjust control pressure cable (98) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.
